In 2002 in New York State alone, there were 64,925 divorces. Nearly half or 31,902 divorces were registered in the five boroughs of New York City. Over 7,100 took place in the two counties that constitute Long Island: 3,414 in Nassau (where I live) and 3,782 in Suffolk (where I grew up).
Of the 3,414 divorces in Nassau County in 2002, 1,601 had no children under the age of 18.
My marriage was one of them.
Why do I bore you with these statistics? Because every single number that makes up these divorce statistics involves the breakup of a marriage involving two people. That's nearly 130,000 people in 2002 (just in New York State) that had to deal with -- what many studies consider -- one of the most stressful events in life. If you consider the entire United States, the number explodes to nearly one million people each year!
I know how stressful it was because I went through it. And when I did, I found there were few - if any -- resources available to men going through a divorce.
That's why I've decided to offer a divorce coaching program for men. While everyone's path is different, I've found the 7 elements of my divorce coaching program can help a man find his bearings and begin to move forward with his New Life Goals™.
